I just found out talking to a guy from edge today about jumper settings for a stock mode without moving the box and then I asked him about upgrades and he said the edge ez 1000c I have should have ver 3.1 but I just looked and mine was made early(jan) o3 and it has ver 3.0. He said if it had 3.0 to call back and he would give me an rma. Has anyone had a box updated and if so, did you notice anything different?

My old version 3.0 went bad and when they sent me the new 3.1, I now had setting #5.. +10hp/20tq

 

I am going to call them today and send this one back for the upgrade. Might as well have the latest software.

The older versions of Edge boxes had 6 power settings(two "hidden") whereas the new one has 5 (one "hidden")

 

And they don't like to talk about the hidden settings either.....
I think the current version is the 3rd one. My last one didn't even have the 5th setting....

 

I had a 3.0 and the grommet went bad in the ICP sensor so it was sent back. I got a 3.1 in return and it felt slower. Both on level 4.

 

Mine is a version 3.1 and it has the hidden 5th setting. Been told that the former #6 setting is "boost fooler only"
