Edge EZ tuner on '06
I have a 06 3500 4x4 drw quad, mods include 4" staight pipe, AEM Brute Force air intake, autometer pyro and boost A pillar guages, and the edge ez tuner. I have ran the ez on all three levels (currently running in the middle level)
I read somewhere that an edge ez will make the truck run hotter. Is this higher egt's or engine temp. Does anyone have any insight or have heard anyone having any problems with this?

I would run it on level 1 most of the time and level 2 some of the time. Level 3 for dynos and short term play only. The increased fuel pressure is hard on the 3rd gen injector bodies and they have been known to crack. Particularly with pressure boxes. Get a rail pressure gauge and monitor your pressures if you use a pressure box.

i run one. my egts run great and i pull some big loads. but it being a pressure box it makes the internal combustion run hot. i think thats the word im looking for. just dont abuse it. always run on the lowest level then when you need the others run it. i never use my third stage unless someone cuts me off or rides my butt then smoke them out a bit.
