Edge EZ power settings

OK, just hooked up my Edge EZ box. I must say on setting
4 (70/220) there is a nice jump in power. I've heard there
are secret settings for addiional power like setting 5 and 6
Is this true ? Can someone tell me how to arrange the jumpers ?
Thanks

# 5 X:: X::

# 6 is not available unless you have one of the original boxes from a couple of years ago...

I wonder how much they change these settings and this is why I asked. I called and asked them if there was a "factory stock setting" without just taking the box off and they said yes and the jumper arrangement they gave me is what you are showing as level 5. I haven't tried it but thats what they told me. I wanted to use it for long trips without actually unplugging the box because my truck gets 1.5mpg less on trips on setting 1.

Dodgezilla, I called Edge also and was told that #5 is a single jumper in the left side pins but mine has only a top pin in that location...???

by2005, Make sure you flip the box upside down with the circuit board on the bottom when you pull the cover off. My right jumper on the left side is missing the one pin.

03CTDCO, if I set mine to level 6 it goes back to what feels like stock. I haven't tried to see if the mileage goes back up yet. It's too hard driving without the box on....
#6 is : : : X X : Good luck.....

Keep in mind that Edge doesn't advertise setting #5 and did away with # 6 because of high fuel rail pressures. Some people have had problems with blowing injector o-rings while running the EZ on level 6. Some people, on the other hand, have had no problems at all. I don't think I would try to tow on level 6... Mine seems to tow fine on level 5 as long as I don't drag race......

Also, the left side pins are for storage only and the right side has all the power settings....

I tried setting 5 today per your diagram X:: X::
noticed nothing at all. I put it back to level 4 and
it roared back to life again. I think setting 1 will
be all I try when towing my 5er next spring.
Thanks

I noticed Edge sells a optional boost elbow.
A few questions, Edge states their boost elbow will permit
higher boost levels greater than 20psi without the wastegate
opening.

Will a 03 HO always open the wastegate at boost greater than 20 psi?

More power with the elbow ?

Anyone run the Edge EZ with and without the boost elbow and notice
power increases ?

Price ?...Sure looks easy to install, just wondering if its worth it.

Thanks

Dodgezilla...good call. I had assumed that the name plate was on the top and I had the circuit board on top also so I had adjusted that incorrect side of the board! Silly me. Well it's dark and late now but I moved it back to setting 3 and will try it in the morning..thanks!!

03, the first box I had on this truck did not have #5 either. I was quite happy to find that my new box did have it..

by2005, when I initially got my box I almost sent it back because it didn't seem any better than stock because instead of level 4, I was setting it to level 1! I hadn't even run the truck yet on level 3 which is the way they send it...

I have the boost elbow and I couldn't tell any difference in power but I know the turbo spools up more now and the max I've seen on my SO has been 30 psi. I've seen posts for HOs getting in the high 30s. I believe the advantage is in lowering your EGTs.. The boost elbow comes with the EZ. I'm not sure of the cost but it can't be more than a couple of bucks. It's really a pretty simple piece.
