High pressure is regulated via voltage, a measurement of which can tell you the rail pressure without a tap. The EZ changes the pressure by manipulating that voltage. The Edge fellow was talking about a low pressure tap. He said they wanted to get the Juice going as a first priority but they were considering the fuel pressure addition to the Additude down the road as they had had a lot of interest. I sure think they could sell a lot of em if the made it.

 

just to be precise -- rail voltage is regulated directly by a different signal (ECM to the CP3) than the one used to measure it (0-5f on the fuel pressure port). But you're refering I'm sure here to boxes who themselves regulate pressure indirectly by inserting a voltage error into the fuel pressure signal path. Thats pressure fooling the ECM -- and the ECM turns around and adjusts pressure directly by controlling the CP3.

low-side pressure would be great in a fueling box.

 

Yep, thats what I meant and also that we can get the rail pressure by measuring the voltage and extrapolating without the addition of a sensor. I know one guy who is doing that now.
