I recently took a 650 mile trip to east Texas. Had the Ez set on the 30 hp setting and averaged 18.5 miles to the gallon, obayed the speed limits the whole trip. Ran about 10 lbs. of boost at cruise. Set the Ez at the 45 hp.setting for the return trip. averaged 20.5 mpg, ran hard to get home,up to 15 lbs. of boost at cruise. I'm not but can anyone explain how more hp and fuel equel better milage?

 

are you going by the overhead? if so, its wrong. the overhead console doesn`t read accurate with fuling boxes.

 

Correct Dodgedude. With the EZ box mine showed an increase of 2 mpg when in fact it had dropped 2 mpg. Result= 4mpg less than overhead readout.
PS Before the EZ my readout was dead-on..

 

All mileage was calculated by miles driven divided by gallons of fuel used.

 

Less pedal is used better mileage,,, the 01 picked up 2 mpg also, I haven't done a road trip in my 04 with the DDPM,,,
