Edge EZ Box question (again)

I have the Edge EZ box, it only has 3 settings (did the old ones have 4?) also I read in this thread that you have to open the hood to change the setting? Mine has a toogle switch that you mount in the cab. Maybe they changed them?

The power on the Edge EZ comes on in the higher RPM range? I have the Bully Dog Power Pup right now. I like the extreme setting on the highway but around town it is way too smokey. I would like a pressure box that only comes in at higher RPM's to keep the smoke down.

Sorry Pourindiesel. I misunderstood your statement. 
The 03-04 EZ comes with 4 settings that they tell you about. Some have the secret 5th setting that they don't advertise. Some of the first EZs even have a 6th setting! Those top two settings raise rail pressure above it's limits and will cause problems if you run them too long. Mine had # 5 setting and after a couple months of running mine there I blew the gasket on the pressure relief valve. No big deal though. A $2.00 part that was very EZ to replace...

my dad runs a edge ez (the one with the 3 position toggle switch) and a bully dog power pup hes had problem with 3 injectors already and truck is pretty rattly right now so it prob has another injector gone. I think hes gonna get rid of the ez and go with stacking a tst with the bdpp
