i would not trust it. BD is set up on MAP pricing which means any authorized dealer can not sell below that price. $495 is MAP price for that manifold. BD finds out and they will shut them down. Usually if a dealer gets caught selling below MAP price, they lose their dealership privileges for that company line.
edit- I hate companies that advertise something like that and when you read more into it, it is only the gaskets but it is a marketing tactic for people to stop and shop that company.

Not true. MAP=Minimum Advertised Price
A dealer can sell the manifold (or any other item) for any price they want. It is illegal for a corporation to dictate the selling price of an item. They are, however, allowed to dictate the minimum price advertised, hence MAP pricing.
Bottom line is that the company is just trying to protect their dealers, trying to insure that all the dealers make a buck and stay in business to sell more product.
Then you have a certain well known diesel aftermarket company that calls you up and tells you they'll give you a better price than your local dealer. Go figure... Good way to support your dealer network there, buddy.
Back on topic-
Be wary of eBay. Too many people on there with scams and bad deals these days. I used to like eBay, but not so much any more. I've got loads of RC stuff and Electronics for sale, but don't even want to deal with eBay any more. Too easy to get bad feedback, and there's nothing you can do about it.

I've had only 1 deal go bad on ebay and that was in Jan 2007, guy delivered excuses, never called or emailed me after my numerous tries and no parts until I reversed the charges on my card a month later. That same person called me last week, left a message and is now trying to SUE ME (remember, this happened Jan 2007) becasue I told everyone I know not to buy from this person. After some digging, I then found out I'm not the only one he's done this to by far. I WILL NEVER BUY PARTS FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL CONTINUE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW!!
