E rated 35" tires
Looking for E rated 35's on an 18" wheel. I like the Toyo AT's, but their 35" is only 11.3" wide....seems too narrow. I want an AT, not MT. Any suggestions?

Skinny goes better in the snow and provides better mileage. You can check out my gallery to see what those tires look like.

I ran D rated tires for 40k. The larger D rated tires often have as high or higher load rating than the E rated that came on the truck from the factory. I'll tell you this. The big E rated tires like the Toyos I have now are like bricks. The ride very harsh.

Look for LT325/65R18 with is 35 tall 12.8 wide. There are 4-5 manufacturers that make 10ply tires, Mickey Thompson,Hankook,Cooper. Also quite a few that build 8 ply. Most will be all terrain. Keep in mind that those in an 8 ply will carry more than your stock size 10 ply.

The Vortracks are E rated at 35" on a 17" diameter.
If your not lifted you have to be careful with offset and width when you chage wheels to use an 18" diameter. With stock height suspension it's a tough fit.
I have the Vortrac's on 17" with a level kit and they fit great with stock alloys. I can't find an aftermarket wheel that would fit based on offset with these tires without lifting the truck which would mess up my fifth wheel hookup.

check the tire specs before you order. different makers measure the tires different ways. Interco and pro comp measure section width of the tire for a given rim where as bfg and toyo measure tread width for a particular rim. Thats why say super swampers are 10" wide on a 35x12.50 and a bfg all terain is 12.3" tread width.

42k+ on my Nittos. I could squeeze a couple grand more out of 'em. They've been a great tire for me. No weird wearing characteristics either. I've been looking hard at the 305's being that they're E rated and they'll fill up my wheel well a little better. They're just pricy though. Especially since I could get a set of procomps for about 1 bill cheaper right now with 3 and 1 deal going. I'm pretty torn as to which tire to get. It seems you hear just as many bad things about procomp as you do about Nitto. The difference being I had great experience with Nitto and none with procomp.
