Dynoed truck 540/1290 Have ?'s
#17
I watched my rail pressure during all the pulls and it never droped below 23000 and never went above 24500. Would a modified stage II or DIY CP3 mod make a big difference?

I saw a spike tv show("trucks" or something like that) where they dynoed before and after big wheels and tires where installed and the big wheels and tires robbed something like 97hp...I love trucks with 37" tires but then I think back to that show and how much money it would cost to get that 97hp back and I think no thanks......just something to think about....

With the tire thing I dont think it would be worth it. I have 37" tires and I got more torque out of the 37"s and it really didnt make a diff at all on hp compared to putting on the stock ones. If they had all the load they could that dyno is weak. I had a 20% load and it almost killed my truck at 1500 rpms when added. Was you boosting normal or low you might need a dyno with more load to get bigger numbers. You might not be using all that you have right now.

They told me that the programming of the Mustang dyno sets up the amount of loading based on the vehicle information inputed into the computer. They said they could bring my truck to an immediate stop by loading the dyno to the max. But they said it was definately adding alot of load to my truck and I had no problem getting max boost immediately.

Was this with the X2 Race or old race? What tune did you have uploaded? #9 smarty and pressure stacker might have netted more for ya but still good #s.

Stock sticks and cp3 gave me 573rwhp
I added a little H20 and meth and... see sig
I think you're closer to 600 than you think. Mustangs seem to always show lower numbers than a Dynojet does...
