i lubed the plugs and i am still getting the error reading...any other suggestions

Sometimes the electrical connections get pushed back a little in the connector housing and do not make proper contact with the mating connector. Also check that your connectors are oriented in the correct direction. I have found on some of the harness connections there is not a alignment tab and the connector can go on either way.
