Unless you're running a stage 3 or dual CP3s, I don't think you'll see much difference between level 5 and 7, and definitely not much between 7 and 9. No difference between 7 and 9 in my truck with 90hp injectors and a Stage 2 pump. I even ran the rail low on my last dyno run with level 7.

yeah, first you put smarty on whatever settings you want, then smarty saves it to memory. after it's saved to memory, then you have to reprogram the truck. if you decide to go again keep us informed of the results, i'm curious to see what it does. i really want to put mine on the dyno again but the only thing close to me is a superflo. i'd like to try a dynojet 248 because that seems to be the most popular around here.

did you change sw levels at the same time that you changed timing settings? if not i'm not sure what you're seeing. but whenever you go into the "adjust options menu, you can change speed limiter, shift limiter, tm, timing, rp, and wastegate (on, off). once these items are changed it is saved to smarty's memory. this means that anytime you change between sw 1-9 then those settings are automatically applied. but you first have to either change between sw 1-9 or reprogram the current sw level that you had applied before you adjusted everything else. i hope this makes sense

as long as you're holding rail pressure, you're good to dyno... I'd put the FASS on there when you get a chance though. Let me know when you turn that TM down... made my truck SO much nicer to drive when I backed the TM back to mild!!!!

Unless I am blind (And I might be) I don't see a Turbo upgrade. I see EGT's getting way up there. Also I dyno'd mine on #9 thinking more is better. RP was fine during the Dyno test. But, after playing around with it on the street\#7 feels more powerful and the truck feels quicker, with similar RP, with less EGT's and smoke. I wish I had dyno'd it on #7 also.

4.2 does not hold a candle to TNT.
I don't know why everyone thinks that any of the older betas have a chance...keep tuning to you find the "right" settings for your truck.
