Dyno reviews

All of this was done with TNT-R and john Stg 3 pump. The truck performed flawlessly but would not put the power down on this dyno. I Know it wasn't just my truck there were other trucks that could not put power down either

Most hp:628.9@2909RPM/94.1mph
Max torque:1185.3@2712RPM/87.0mph
I did everything I knew how to do on the dyno to make power but that was all she wrote. THere were issues with the Smarty and the 4K feature. My truck hit a rev limiter at 3500rpm. I went in the rpm menu and put it on #1 for the High rpm feature. Also my graph does not look like anybody elses as far as were in the rpm range I was making power. There was a VP truck there that runs consistant 11.50's at the strip with mach 7's 66/71/14 and a Edge drag comp and he only hit 577hp. So I think there was two problems going on,
THE DYNO And my tnt-r was not working correctly. The good news is the stg 3 cp3 IS an amazing pump and kept the rail at 24,5 for every dyno run. So I got some research to do with Bob/Marco and I'm going to hit another dyno in two weeks at TS in kentuckey.

Chris, sorry about your luck its as good as mine lol . I know with your set up you should do better, I made alot more power and wish the weather wasnt so bad here yesterday, so we could of dynoed. Im sure I would of made tons more.
I drove my truck home about 300 miles yesterday with DONs Sticks and JOHNS Pump. DON thanks for getting me up and goin again so quick, the truck SCREAMS.It has a light haze while at driving speeds. I was a little afraid of really layin into this thing so far from home but as I got closer, I was getting more anxious by the mile. With the TST on 2/3 I layed into it. Very impressive, NO PRESSURE. I bumped the TST to 3/4 very good feeling when the boost would come on. Tones or power and Never thought I would make the power im making on just TST. Not knocking Marco or Bob and I will try a Smarty some day, for now this is what I have and I'd like to use it. Thanks for everyones help.

The reason I asked about the dyno was the 24V with the 7's, single 66 turbo and drag comp made right about what it was supposed to make. Maybe 20 HP low, but not in all cases. Cold weather lowers the correction factor to negative digits too.

The type of dyno was a mustang 1100. The vp truck was Karl mirieter. The Mustang reps were on hand and kept saying that they could not load the truck right due to it only has one eddy current brake and it should have 2. The truck spooled instantly. were as on the road it take a little while.
Thanks corey The pumps really no joke but if you watch my video it looks like the truck wants a lot more fuel. And I need to get this smarty thing figured out!!!!!

My numbers were uncorrected. the corrected #'s were 638hp Which seems low to me. The truck is a freakin animal on the highway it's almost stupid fast once the turbo lights

If you put 638 down on the pavement...your truck will feel stupid fast.
When you get into the 700 plus range...it feels stupid scary!

Did your smoke clean up? I don't think you have enough turbo for numbers much bigger than that...IMHO.

The fact also it was a Mustang dyno and not a Dynojet make it tougher too. A mustang vs Dynojet your looks at maybe 668/1230 probably

The smoke was completly gone. The spool up was almost just as fast as the stocker was on the same dyno. I guess there is a big problem with the dyno. People on comp d are talking about it as well. I've seen 3rd gen trucks with a small single turbo put down over 600hp with small sticks. Plus my graph looks nothing like any body elses with tnt-r. I'm trying to post my video and graph so yall can see it. My egts were 1100 at the end of the run. It's like my truck was on jackstands during the runn

The speedo went from 68mph to 120+ in about a second. Just got off the phone with bob and he thinks it's the SW I have. Because I also not hit 4K.
To make it clearer Christian, The Mustang engineer said the eddy current brake was not sufficient for the stronger trucks.
