Dyno Results!

Just got back from the dyno day in Fort Collins. There were some very nice looking trucks down there. I figured I would post up my results from my 3 pulls in response to the thread I started the other day, and to say thanks to everyones input! I am very happy with the numbers I put down with the setup I had. Here are the graphs for my 2 best runs, best hp was 494.34, and 1032.90 ft lbs.

Yeah stock turbo. I saw a max boost of 39 psi and a max egt of 1550 according to data logging on the commander. Those max numbers were from the third run, the second graph above.

DENVERDODGE04, I would like to see your graphs if you can get them loaded.

Wow, that's really putting some power down. I guess if I switch to the TNT tune that would put me around there too? Congrats though, that is some SERIOUS power!!

I would think so. Our setups are very similar. I was very impressed with how tnt ran.

I'm confused. On www.madselectronics.com, under the RevoTNT pdf instructions, it says that in order to run the TNT software, they require AT LEAST the following upgrades:

Turbo
Injectors
Lift Pump
Injection Pump
Transmission/Clutch
Valve Springs (depending on boost)

How well does it run without all these upgrades? And is it a good idea?

It does not say you must have any of those items. It says you will not be able to take full advantage of the program....

The TNT software has been written for trucks with extensive modifications!

The horsepower levels start around 100 Hp on CaTCHER # 1 and reach 230 additional Hp on
CaTCHER # 9.
These HP gains are referred to a “close to stock” engine but depending on your modifications can
be more. With correctly modified and tuned engines we have seen gains in the 400+ Hp range
above the stock software. On the higher settings a stock engine can NOT take full advantage of it
because the fuel and air supply from the stock parts are simply not enough.
Aftermaket, turbo, injectors, lift pump, injection pump, automatic transmission AT LEAST are
required!
Also a good insurance against valve float at high boost levels is a good set of stiffer valve springs.
If you need valve springs or not, depends upon several factors like max boost pressure reached,
rev range and of course the mileage of the stock springs.

Wow I have the same truck with obviously different mods but came no where near those numbers.

I guess I need the smarty instead of the juice. Or is there something im missing here? lol.

loafus, What numbers did you put down with your edge with juice and were you using the hot unlock? How much of a difference is there between the power loss of a manual vs an automatic? That would be the other thing to take into consideration. I have no clue is there is even much of a difference.

cwgtex, I read that too, and I still have not set my smarty back to the regular revo. I just turned down the settings for now since I do not have a lot of the recomended things listed.
