Dyno Numbers With My Smarty Jr.
i just dyno'ed my 07 ctd auto. this is how it went down.
first pull: 283 hp 521 tq with afe stage 2 intake and 4 inch straight pipe.
second pull: 364 hp 666 tq with (smarty jr) lv 3. afe intake and straight pipe.
third pull: 367 hp 672 tq again (smarty jr) lv 3. afe intake and straight pipe.
this is on a mustang dyno.
Are these good numbers? i didnt run the other settings cause it was getting expensive to stay on the dyno and keep changing programs. iam going to be putting my truck on a dyno jet dyno to see if there is any difference in dyno numbers. i was wanting 700 ft lbs of tq

Mustang dynos are tough...
A Dynojet will most likely give you the numbers you're looking for.
The nice thing about a Mustang is that it can load your truck when you have a big single or twins. You get a more true number than you would on a Dynojet when you can't get your turbo spooled.
Just be happy you weren't on a Superflow!

I thought there was a guy on here a couple of weeks ago that did a dyno with the JR on all three levels and he showed 400 700 or real close to it. But I could be wrong maybe he'll chime in on the topic.

I had a devil of a time getting spooled on an unloaded dynojet and never spooled all the way. Instead of the 50+ psi I was used to, I could barely break 40. Think that could have depressed #'s a little?

My edge juice in 366 hp, but my truck only dynoed 264 stock so I am thinking it is a little more. If it says 100 hp gain thats what it should be not 80. All trucks act differently though.
