We hit the dyno today with my truck and my brothers (silver 62 turbo, walbro lift pump, 45% EH injectors and the Quad Adrenaline). Last night while tuning I blew apart a fitting for my DP gauge, so I pulled it apart this morning and fixed the fitting. Well when I put it back to gether I had a huge exhaust leak between my external gate and the manifold that I couldnt get to seal so I tried to use a C clamp to hold it shut. Didnt work so well. I was running Beta 4.3, and an X2. On each run I only hit 40 psi total boost with only 11 psi coming from the primary. Also drive pressure was only around 20-25, as it was all escaping through hole in the exhaust. I hit 553 and 960 tq as my best run. I was hoping for 600, maybe without the leak.

Now for my brothers. He also has an 03 with 35 inch tall tires, he hit 553.5 and 980 tq with the adrenaline on 7, rail pressure 22-23k, the first run was 491 with the box on 8, rail pressure 19-20. His pump is still stock. With a modded pump and or some more pressure from the adrenaline I bet he could have been very close to 600

These runs were made on a mustang that tends to read a little low.

 

Is your brothers truck stock other than the adrenaline? (seems like he has a little more into it seeing those #'s.)
I'm asking because my '05 is stock...other than the adrenaline...just curious what kind of #'s a guy can put down with just the adrenaline and nothing else. (I'm not done modding, but in my mind it's a good start)

 

He has a silver 62 turbo walbro lift pump and 90 hp injectors. Stock CP3 tho

 

Ive been waiting for some numbers on the Adrenaline. Curious how it and the Smarty will work together. Doesnt seem too bad by itself. Did he run an out-of-the box tune or did he get into the custom tuning stuff??

 

Just the out of the box tune. I didnt have time to mess with it on his truck.
