Dual exhausts systems
I have a quick question, the answer is mostly likey very simplebut for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Can anyone tell me why the dual systems are for 4x4 vehicles only.

I put the MBRP cat back duals on my 06 4x4 longbed quad cab. The fit was very tight around the drivers side shock. I have not hooked up my trailer with it yet but but i think the weight of the trailer will bring the pipe down very close to the axle. If this were on a 2wheel drive vehicle without the extra lift of a 4x4 it would not have enough room for any movement..

what you could do if you were really interested in the duals is to lift your truck to the 4x4 height which should be about 2-3 inches then you should be able to run bigger tires and also a dual exhaust. but i don't see where it is worth all of that unless you wanted the bigger tires.

Do an internet search for Allied Exh. They are the largest supplier of exh components in the country and carry every body who is anybody. They will be able to direct you. They have a bunch of warehouses across the country also so they should have one fairly close to you to provide your diesel shop what they need which will save on shipping costs. Good luck.
