Dual CP3s
#16
SS, check with tst but I think leve 7-9 will blow your relief valve and are more or less for the hard core only. I saw 27.5 on level three and have never been over that. I dont even use it now that I got the mp8.
Is the R49AP the one with the pressure, or is that something even newer? I have never seen the AP.

Talked with John at Floor-It
Talked with John this afternoon about this issue. He said his dual CP3 setup will definitely support two high pressure CP3s. That sounded good to me since I already had one. He's down and sick right now but he has his prototype about ready for Sloverado. Can't wait to hear the feedback on that tune. I think Sloverado has a pull coming up soon. Good luck.

tst says level 2 is safe. the owner reccomended no more than 2. It is equal to high levels on the edge ez. how much rail pressure does the mp8 add at 50% ? anybody have the answer

TST only fools it to make pressure tell about 2500 rpm's then it kind of strays back to stock. Any thing on my truck over 5 will put the truck in limp mode. I have had long talks with Mark at TST and found all the info about it I needed.

Hey Sloerado, is that what Mark said at tst that the tst only boost fools up to 2500? Cause I notice on mine I hit 58 psi of boost, then at 2500 it drops about 10 psi of boost. So that would make sense I guess why im loosing boost on the top end. Is there any way around boost fooling the top end above 2500 rpm?

See maddog I was having some problems with TST for awhile. I have talked with them and they sent me a new one and harness. I have it on the truck now with no problems. I am not sure about the boost fooling as I run a HTT plug in mine. It seems it have something to do with the pressure as I saw the same thing as you but it would through a code (rail pressure code) and loose all power. That was on any setting over 5. The 7-9 on the twins setup you need a rail cap on but I can't get that high and I have mine capped.

Yes it is capped. I took the pressure relief valve out and put in a cap so I can run as high or rail pressure as possible (safe though). Some valves are weeker and will blow before what they are made for so I took that out and capped it.

how much is a dual stock cp3 kit? what is the difference between this kinda set up and a fass or walbro system? I am not real up on the fuel system stuff..... probably should be.
