I have had very good luck with my DTT 48RE. I traveled to their garage in Abbottsford, BC. They scheduled my truck for the day, gave it 100% of their attention, let me observe everything they were doing, and explained as they went.

I was in their shop at 09:00hrs, and on the road back to the states at 15:00hrs. Great Family, I would not hesitate to use them again, and I would recommend their product.

They do have Satellite Dealers around the country, I cannot attest to them.

I've had mine for 10K now and love it. I don't think you can go wrong with DTT.

If the price is right then go for it. I have a DTT built tranny for 50k miles with not one bit of trouble and pulling horse trailer 95 percent of the time

150,000 miles on my DTT, in 5 yrs .... towing, racing, some pulling.... never a hiccup! Love it.
DTT has been around longer than most mfg's, and is widely regarded as the upper end in price, and in ability to handle big power.
But any tranny can be torn up if not properly respected. For me, would depend on the price and how well I knew history on the seller!
DFW area has a top DTT installer, if that's your part of Texas.

I'm very impressed with my DTT transmission! Well over 50,000 miles on mine and still holding strong! A friend of mine is getting ready to build up his '06, but didn't want to spend the money I did on my DTT, so he went with a Goerend. It should be here this week sometime. He'll be setup with a similar power setup to mine, so I'll have a good comparison in the next little while.
