Cowhand,
What about the bilstien 5150s? A little more $, I assume a little more shock with a rez, maybe some sort of a compromise between the 5100s and the 7100s or not even worth it?

I have never heard anything bad about Kings, but have heard some people that didn't like the foxes - could be that they weren't valved properly though.
I would really like to know what makes the Swayaways worse than the foxes. I was considering going to the Lorenz kit with swayaways....
For those that don't need a "performance suspension", I would think that any shocks are better than the stockers.... I would think that Bilstein's would work just fine for a majority of the people on this board.

The Fox 2.5 is a nice shock, but I've heard lots of complaints about the 2.0. If you talk to the guys in the big disco Chevys and Fords that have at least 2of them on each corner they'll tell you they're the cats meow; but like Conrad said, they're comparing them to the stock crap they replaced.
You're right, a piggyback res won't fit the front.

The SSSSS is TIG-welded with 316L rod - as is all of our steel products - and it's not possible for the sector shaft extension or support bearing to come off, even if the stainless steel poly-lock nuts were able to loosen.
Also, the upgraded trackbar bushings are a must-have IMO.
As inexpensive and easy to replace as they are, there's no good reason not to!

After I typed the question about the 5150s I realized there was no way for em to work on the front, but what about the back? Would it be worth it?
Mike I was kinda hopin you would join in, as I am trying to decide between your set and the defiant one.

Well, after looking at products available for the steering support, I decided to go with the Defiant Steering Box Sector Shaft Support. It will mount up with no issues, will work with my KORE Leveling Kit Drop Blocks so I don't have to have any additional expenses.
I e-mailed Defiant, got a REAL QUICK response, answers to my questions, have to say that Paul is right on the ball AND very nice to deal with . . So, it will be here in a few days UPS.
Track Bar will be next.

I'm not saying one is better than another...
Just that the SSSSS will lower your sway bar if you don't have that done already.
I'll probably go with the Defiant (unless Thuren has his own-I'm getting all my suspension goodies from Don here shortly) because I want to use sway bar links. I don't like the idea of dropping the sway bar down, but that's just me...
I can't wait for Don to revavle my Fox 2.5's and send me all the other goodies we talked about
