Dropped the mega a hair...

Heres the cleaned up/better after pics....
I might still try to take a leaf out of the pack to get it even a hair lower so its perfectly even(at least to the eye) since the rear wheel opening is taller than the front, so it never looks level...

That is too sexi thanx for ensuring my plan of dropping the rear. The best way to truly level it now would really be to jack up the fron a little bit not a whole lot. Or just do like my buddy Taquache and airbag it lol hahah...

Yeah, I was talking to him on CF, stinks it costs so much to bag these big ole trucks, id do it in a heartbeat...
Really it might be worth taking out one of the leave springs too to get it truely level, but that might mess with the driveline angles too much...

Could you please post the link to the write up on this. I WAS in the same boat as most 2WD mega cab owners wanting to level by lifting the front. This is how I wanted to level mine in the first place. Thank you very much.

Heres the link with pics of the process, pretty straightfoward, I had mine done from start to finish in 45min, it does help to have an extra set of hands though, just to move quickly, but its not bad at all, you could do it yourself...

Nope, just the back, and after plenty of time to "settle" it only dropped about an inch, maybe 1.25"s.
Ill be looking into another way to get it a little lower, either ditching the overloads and maybe another spring, or something?

Did you notice a lot more stiffness from the rear end? It feels like the back end got stiffer, its also much harder to spin tires. I'm getting the same mileage at a slightly higher speed on the highway and getting better acceleration from a turn(my POV). However, i really need some shocks for the to help with the bumpiness of the stiff ride in the back, I always hit the bump stops not to mention body lean. The back end really does hold a lot nicer in turns since i've lowered mine though...

Theres 3.25"s from the axle to the stops, and there was 4.25-4.5" before I installed the shackles...
Im trying to figure out if the front spring hanger for the '94-'02 trucks would work to get an extra 2"s out of it without the crazy angle on the rear end(or install some degree shims to correct the pinion angle)
