i'm plannin on getting a smarty and mp-8, i'm also lookin at suspension, lookin into both a 3 inch lift with 35's (kore hp) and a 4.5 inch with 37's, lookin to see how people like 37's with the taller gears. i drive alot of open road to work, 80 miles one way, so fuel economy will be a lil factor,,, but wanna go with the cool factor as well
maybe i'm still a kid at heart,, haha, haven't had a true lifted truck.

6" BDS on 37" Geolanders. Loving the ride. I have some suspension problems (ball joints, u-joints, and a bad trac bar) However, before those issues the ride was great. Towing was not a problem.

yep same here. i love mine. I usually run 40s on mine and it does fine but im also a 6spd manual.

37s are fine with 3.73s if you dont tow heavy, even still they arent bad even with an auto. 6spd trucks are easier to drive around the loss in gear for towing.

I ran a 4" superlift setup with 37/12.50 Pro Comps, fit well, no rubbing except the control arms at FULL lock with stock wheels. H2s or similar backspaced wheels and they wont rub at all.

my buds got a 2500 with 3.73 auto with 37" toyos he loves it we have had about 14k or so be hind it towed fine but he doesnt drive hard with that kind of weight takes off nice and slow and easy he has had no problems and fuel suffered a lil around town but not bad on the highway

I towed 21ft triton bass rig with 6 inch lift and 37s and 3.73 gears. No problems what so ever. Only got 11mpg in town and they came off!

I can't comment on the 37's but since you are also considering the lift and 35's I'll add this.

I am seriously considering going to 4.10's with my 35's. IMHO (and I must add with not a lot of time towing thus far with this rig), with the auto, 3.73's and 35's, if you are towing much weight the gearing is not very good. Even with a small utility trailer behind it, the MPG's and low end grunt suffer.
On the plus side, it looks cool( my first lifted truck also) and it gives me an excuse to give the wife a helping "hand" or two getting in.

I have 37x12.50x17 Yokohama Geolander AT/S on my 06 Auto with 3.73's on the stock alloy wheels with a Kore recon kit and a Carli track bar. It's a tight fit but they don't rub at all and I didn't feel any difference in power going from 35's to the 37's. I towed a 2 horse trailer with 2 horses in it from Billings MT back to Calgary and it works just fine.

I'd prefer 4.10s with my setup but 3.73s get the job done.

37's and 3.73s work great together for me with a G56. I added an overdrive as well, so cruising on the interstate at 75 - 80 is a comfortable 1800 rpm.

Mine runs fine, I'm running 37's on stock rims with the Kore Race kit. A little trimming on the fender and she was good to go.
