Draining Airdog 150?

Draining Airdog 150?
I tried to drain my airdog and nothing came out. I thought that you just had to unscrew the cap a few turns. Do you have to remove it? I called Pureflow and they said just to unscrew it while the truck is running and let it drain until there is no more water.

if u open while the pump was running, it would suck air i would think(sucksion side of pump) i usally leave the truck and pump off, swing under and unscrew a couple of turns. but if ur's isn't working i would unscrew the water seperater and dump out and maybe shake and lightly bang to get the crude out.
