It worked great on my '06.5. Is the '07 any different?

The 06.5-07 trucks have the good bands and clutches in them the older models do not from what im told. Some other stuff could be different also.

Anything that you can do to get the 60' time down will pay back a lot on your et. Any fatter rear wheel and tire combo available, drag radials? If you could launch in 2wd and hook up you will be quicker. I know that its apples and oranges, but my hemi 4x4 qc Ram has the 275/60/20 GY HP's and they hook up very good. Any way to tranfer weight from the front of truck to the rear, battery out of motor area, lighter front wheels and tires. Air down rears , max air in the fronts. Remove sway bar?

You should be in the 13's with your truck. I ran 13.90's with my '05 and all I had was a bullydog downloader and a built TRANNY! Get your tranny! Before the tranny i did manage to run a 14.09 and then the next launch melted the stock tranny......

you did the mod in this thread for your lock up ? Our truck should be the same... I just read in a few different places, the wiring is different and it is harder to do on our trucks.

Triton my mod. lockup is done similiar just doesnt have the jumper in the fuse box and has a resistor inline from trans to switch off then ground to the on part of the switch. Ill have to look and see what exact pin # it is but i know its the only yellow with green tracer in that plug loom.

Yes. I think further into that thread there is talk about the 06's. You run a tap from the #7 pin on the tranny connector to a toggle switch, then to a 33ohm resistor, and then to ground.

If I lock mine up at full throttle in first gear it wont shift out of first but wont set the code like it would before the resistor was installed. I lock it up just as soon as it shifts to 2nd or when it shudders like its going to shift into second and then flip it and it digs through the gears to the finish and can leave it locked down to 15mph or so and then the truck starts jumping around and crud so it will let you know if you forget to unlock it. Before the resistor you could only lock it up at full throttle and only when it was in 2nd gear then you had to unlock it before you let out of the throttle on the big end or you got a dtc. But the 33ohm resistor that I sauldered inline from wire coming up from trans to off position on switch took care of that and then ground wire to the on position side of the switch. All in all I have literally $5 in my switch. Ill pay $5 for .5 seconds in the 1/4 anyday. Best bang for your buck.
