Dr Performance Preditor box... Can I get some feedback?

Hey Guys,
I'm thinking about buying one (used for a good price). Can I get some feedback from people running the box? Like it, don't like it??? Also, does anyone have it stacked with a smarty?

Thanks,
Jason

I have 2 friends running intake, exhaust, and a Dr. P. box. They both get over 20mpg's on 06 qc 4x4's. No problems to date. Also have one friend running a dr. p. on his 99 7.3 ford dually - added 4mpgs across the board. I don't know of anyone who's stacking with the smarty. A rail pressure gauge is probably a good idea if you don't have one already.

Are you looking at the adjustable box or just the box that gives one setting only?

I run a Stage ll box that gives 80/160, the box I have is not adjustable. It gives good power for what it is, dosen't throw any codes, dosent realy smoke at all when it's on alone.

I have stacked that w/ a BDTD and it ran like a raped ape. Made good power down low and up top. The box stacks well i've heard. And to top it off if you buy one used they go for real cheap. Probley $100 or less for a stage ll

I'm looking at a stage III adjustable box. It has the stock, 50 and 100hp settings. More mileage would be great. Just doesn't seem like many guys are running them, thats why I asked, I haven't heard much about them.

Yea they are pretty low key, if you ask me they are under credited. My dad bought the box from the dealer when he bought his truck in 03, I sortive stole it and put it on mine now . So for almost 5 years this box has been sitting under a hot as heck hood and it still holding up, & giving up good power for what it is.

I think they are more of a "stacking" box, they don't have the best power alone but they do well.

I even think they control shifting somewhat, because when the box is off my truck is shifts like rubbish. When I put it back on it feels much more firm & it's not over revving to make power.

I run the 2018 predator.....alone it is a fairly decent box....all top end. But stacked with the smarty.....it adds about 60hp over the smarty....which aint too shabby considering most boxes dont even add 50% of their rated value when stacked.

The Dr P box is in my mind the best pressure box out there, I personally think that it far outshines the mp8.

Don't want to thread jack here but maybe someone can answer this.

Would this Dr.P Stage ll box be stackable w/ a Smarty JR? The Jr ads timing/fueling only?

I had the Stage III on my truck until decided to give the X2 a try. The only thing I didn't like about it was the rail pressure maxed out when I hit 75 mph.

I run a stage 3 and it gets me about 2 miles per gallon better mileage. I am not on the skinny pedal a lot so the pressures don't get real out of control.

I will second that. I have been running one in my truck for 2 years stacked with the Smarty. I have had a great year of pulling and that is part of my combo.
