Donaldson 41" / 5" tip
I finally got my 5" tip in from the US to go along with my 41" Donaldson and I've been itching to get it installed.
If I could find an exhaust place that doesn't want my truck for a day to get it done. One of the crappy things about this part of the city. All the big rig guys get service first.
I'll post up some sound clips once it's installed
$90 Canadian at a local Truck place (Traction)
Not fancy...but the general opinion seems to be that it does the job better than many of the pretty mufflers out there.
Chrome so shiny that it was hard for my reflection not to be in the picture.

I'm in Toronto and so far I've been getting the run around from the places around here.
They all want me to drop off my truck and leave it there for the day, which I think is stupid. You make an appointment and it won't take more than an hour to do.
I'm going to try a Diesel performance shop tomorrow and see how busy they are. Hoping I'll get lucky.

If it still drones...or sounds kinda like that and you don't like it...take off that tip and run it...sometimes those rolled edges on those tips are bad about that too.

What model number are you specifically talking about? I'd like to check it out in their product literature.
Got any sound clips of yours?

I do think so, the rolled edge isn't rolled all the way inside against the inside wall of the tip, so I think the airflow hits the edge of the roll and makes a sound...uhh kinda like a drone. I tested on mine and got a plasma cutter and just cut the roll off of it, made a big difference I think. I could hear the noise inside the cab more when the roll was on. Just what I think, maybe it's just me, I'm not sure lol.
