Did you do a full bead on them? or just a little stich to hold them in place?

Not sure if I want to weld them to the perch, but I dont like the dang things moving around

Maybe a 1-1/2" front and back...1/4" groove/fillet with 7010.

It would take all of 10 minutes to remove it with a grider/cuttoff wheel if needed.

Cool, thanks, I think thats the best bet to not worry about the thing moving.

After installing my lift, 2 months later I noticed some slop in the back and one of the blocks had turned 1/2" or so, even though the U-bolts were tight.

Did you need any angle shims for the added height? or did the blocks you used have 2*-4* "built in"?

Not sure if 1" blocks have any angle to them, or if ill need an angle shim with the Mini-pack/1" block.

No need for angle...I made my 1"....welded to my Tuff 2.5" plus the springs...gives me about 4.5" of rear lift.

I think he was asking if it would add any angle to your rearend for pinion angle. The ones you made were out of solid 1" stock or did you mill it at an angle?

Solid 1" stock...I did not add any angle...it is well within the "smoth" operation range of the lower joint...

What about going with the 4 inch Skyjacker Leafpack, you would have the rear a little higher( probably just like stock-same angle) that would get rid of the axle wrap. I am going through the same dilemas with what to do with rear?

He went with Thurens stuff for ride quality...

Ill be doing the same soon, the superlift front coils are junk, way too stiff, and ill probably get the mini pack setup too to help out the ride.
Havent ran the skyjacker setup, but im guessing its the same way, youll get the height you want, but wont ride as well as it could
