Glad to hear you made a great pull Brandon! I dont know if you remember me telling you that it would get way hot. I had a couple threads on here dealing with questions about the heat. My truck runs high egts on the street. Everyone says go to twins - but it knocks us out of class.

On a side note- can you imagine what your truck will do if you put a pulling suspension on it

Oh yea - I wanted to ask but forgot - did you run 5th gear?

Yep...2.8's to 3's max. My 3.3's move some serious fuel and keep my brain/right foot connection to my lafrge twins challenged with EGT's while towing. Faster the better...but these darn slow pokes on the highway trying to conserve fuel now keep getting in my way.

Being able to rev out 3rd to 4k now really helps getting my turbos back on top of the fuel though...LOL

Nope dan i ran 4th low. i htonght about running 5th low but i would jump from 26mph to 35mph wheel speed. I didnt figure that it would handle that. Are you going to that pull on sat?

Brandon just try it!! I agree on egts. anything over a Flux 3 is going to make egt's an issue with any 66 charger. Water works miracles.

Dont think so. Is it cancelled? Hitting the fair circuit down here starting next week. Come to the Wood County fair July 19th (I think) interstate fair and exposition. Prob. a 2 hour trip for you. 15 minutes below marietta on I77.
