Don M are you around! I saw you were on the mercedes shop forum and wanted to ask you for help I have been trying to find more resources on adding some serious power to an 86' 300sd. Do you sell injectors for these cars?

Does anyone know where to look for more info on injectors, turbos, fuel upgrades???
There doesn't seem to be much discussion on the above mentioned site of exactly how to do the work to these motors. Also can you point me in the right direction to find out more of how to add power? (air+fuel=power) I know they are IDI but they are tough and I have seen many videos on YouTube that show some huge power coming from them in Europe.
Problem is everything is in German...

Thanks for any help with this... I would really like to look into this...

Those Mercedes Diesels are awesome! They scream. It would be nice to have one of those sitting in the driveway along with the Dodge Cummins.

Don will have to chime in if he plans to get into the Mercedes Diesel injector business. I doubt it. But, I know he has a couple of older (80s) gasser Mercedes cars. One of them will scream pretty good too! He may have just been on that forum looking for info on his personal cars.

LOL! I dont have anything yet for the MBZ, but we just bought a 1987 300TD Tuesday! The plan is to get some upgrades developed on this thing.

We found a perfect 300 in Austin with the OM603 engine. MBZ only imported 1500 of these in 1987 with the 6 cylinder turbocharged 603 and then dropped the 6 cylinder to a 5 cylinder in 90-93 for emissions reasons. California enviro laws stopped them from selling the 603 dead in their tracks by 1988.

We take the car to MBZ for all the recalls Friday. Trap Oxidizer and complete exhaust system replacement is all covered under warranty for a 20 year old car! Free MBZ rental car too! They replace the turbo if the trapox damaged the impeller on the turbo for free as well. About 90% of the 87's needed a new turbo upon inspection.

They also told us that if the engine is hurt in any way from the trap ox or turbo, the engine is replaced as well!!!!! LOL

Anyway, look for injectors, turbos, camshafts, and pump mods coming soon. I plan on a complete line of stuff for the MBZ Diesels. CDI as well in the near future. We have owned the W124 Benz cars for nearly 10 years. They are rock solid.

TexasCTD is right, we have a M119 powered W124 that will run over 160 MPH!!! Dont ask how I know (-:

Hang tite. The W123, W124 and W126's will be tons of fun for people wanting to build a cheap hot rod to play with.

Its been awhile since I have seen those videos. Corvette Owners surely get mad enough when a huge diesel trucks beats them in a drag. Imagine their look when a four door benz smokes them out. I watched a Top Gear where they tested a Benz Diesel and there major complaint was the open diff. Imagine that
