Not sure which injectors, I only deal with stock replacement stuff, with the exception of my pov. I am sure some performance guru's will chime in.

I have never used a DRB, so it will not capture flow rates at wot?

i m not sure. i only used it in shop idling.i could see rail pressures. at idle i say 4800-7000 psi idling (i dont know why it fluctuates)and when i revved it up at idle i saw 17000 psi rail pressure. loaded up on highway would obviously be better or higher.

Something isn't right with that engine. Thats not the exhaust I'm hearing. Very rough sounding motor. That engine has a serious fueling and boost issue. It's not making enough boost for one thing with the amount of fuel it's putting in. If you get bigger injectors, this sound will still be there if not worse. You need to get the boost pressure up first to see if the engine will smooth out.

I know I said it was serious, but I didn't mean really that serious. No, there is nothing wrong internally with the engine. It's not a rod knock or anything like that. I think it's a peck or miss that comes from a fuel problem. It just sounds like to much fuel and not enough air or boost pressure. It could even be a slight timing issue or an injector at a higher RPM. But, with the tests you have ran, I wouldn't worry about the injectors until it was last on the list. If you get the boost up, you should see your EGTs work very different. It will either not get as hot or it will take longer to get to your defueling set point. I know this problem has to be killing you, because it would me. I love these trucks, but all diesels suck if they just aren't running right.
