Does anybody have an insight... VA C5
Does anybody know where one might be able to get a hold of a programming lead that would allow the VA C5 to be programmed? I have the software, just need to get the programming lead.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The test leads were sent to Pocatillo. Since you helped to clean them out, I would of thought you would of just got one from Simon. As for the software, don't hold your breath on getting it to work. Your not the only one who has it and it does not work.

What so your just missing the plug itself? What ends are on it, wire count that type of thing? My old man got all set up to burn ecm's at one time, he may have what you need if its not brand specific.
I think most of the stuff he got was some electrical catalog he orders stuff from. MSC? ESI? I dont know hes the computer/electronics guy, I never was that intersted till I started tryin to blow up my cummins.

Like Angelo said, you helped clean out their US office, how is it that you couldn't get a lead? I think your on a fishing trip to see what kind of info you could get for your buddy Simon.

My Smarty is so much better than the C5. I have that thing turned to 0 now, and think my mileage has gone up (well I aired up my tires too, LOL) It never did work well for me (the C5) I tried it on Smarty's even #'s, took Smarty off, did everything I could think of. I just figured that eventually VA would give us the software and everything would be good.
Man, I paid almost a thousand bucks for that thing.
I wonder how many people bought it? It had some good posts http://www.turbodieselregister.com/f...nakken-c5.html
I understand guy named Simon at VA won't return dealers calls re: the C5, VA sure left the dealers (and us) out in the cold!
Big difference beween Marco's software (constantly updated, betas etc.) and Va 'vaporware' !!
