diy cp3 mod surging
I know others have stated a surge after doing this mod pulled fca apart and valve just falls out so I know its not sticking feels as though engine is hunting while not at WOT if eased into bad surge hammer down no surge does any one know what controls the fca and is there a way to fool it kinda like a boost fooler to possibly stop the surge and why does a modded cp3 from a shop run with no surge

Well, for the 20 minutes mine ran after the modded cp3, mine surged too, but it was under hard acceloration.
Guess what. When my new one gets here, it aint gettin modded. I ll just wait on a stage 2, 3 or duals.

We got the same problem at part throttle and hard throttle on one of the 2 we have modded its an 06 with a tst and a trpl dog but when we change the programer to the diablo sport it quit but have since swapped back and surging is also back. Weve tried uping the line pressure from the glacier pusher and it didnt help any.

What did you figure out on TST to stop surging I hooked up bypass an mine went away so I know its causing the problem or atleast making it worse. This is on a 06 with TST R49 a DIY mod an Glacier set at 36psi. As CReed stated it did go away at wot with Diablo an TST over the Bullydog but is there at part throttle with both unless TST is out of loop.

Talked to TST said could be my rp sensor there is 2 different sensors an 1 have givin them a few problems on trucks with adjustable rp an this sounds logical since it surged before diy mod. Anyone else heard of this are had a bad rp sensor?

Mine surges with the stock FCA. I think my problem may have something to do with the TST also. Haveing a modded FCA just amplified my surge.
Glad you got it figured out.
