DIY CP3 MOD...anybody having probs?
I was just curious, I have read a bunch of threads on the DIY CP3, and know what it does. I want to know if over time, any of you have had problems?
How hard is it reallly to do on a scale of 1-10?
....and is there anyone in Dallas that has done their's and would like to give me a helping hand? I can do most of the work, I just want a 2nd experienced eye If I can.

I plan on doing mine pretty soon. I'm trying to buy just the FCA from Mopar so I can have a spare if something goes wrong. If it goes well I'll sell the other on the Classifieds.

A little gain but for free you cant beat it. Lots of surging problems and so forth but it seems that is mostly incorrectly modded fca's. Give it a shot the worst you can do is need a new fca.

I've done it. I can't say whether I gained anything or not. But it didn't hurt anything either. Honestly, I could see no difference at all before and after. That does not mean I didn't get a benefit, I just could not tell.

Got off the phone with Dave @ Floor it (Nice Guy) and he says this will not hurt the CP3. Also if you plan on doing this make sure you do not drop the FCA. Apparently this thing is very sensitive and dropping it as little a 3 inches off a table will alter the unit. Dave sells the FCA only for a decent price.
