so long term has anyone had any problems with this mod??? was it ever dyno proven?? im really thinking about doing this.

The only problem that I have is i didnt get the metering valve smoothed enough, and when its cold it takes a few extra cranks to start. I would pull it and clean it up, but the torx bolts have siezed, and I cant get them out. If i had some time i could get them out, but its not a big deal, it always starts just fine. Coldest start so far was -24. I may have some dyno numbers in a few months, that is if i dont get a new pump first.

10-4 im thinkin bout doin it but not sure lol it took me months just to get the guts to drill the holes for the **** cab lights lol

Can you do this mod with the stock lift pump?If you can im going to do it.

just got finished having this done and it does make a difference in the spool of the turbo and the smoke produced im sure with and airdog that im planning to purchase it will be able to support the race box and more. i still get the cel on level three

well, I did it and notice a little difference, especially in third but I had a slight surge around 1900 rpm so I took it out. Aftert sanding down with 1500 grit, I put it in and still an even lesser surge but still there. I wanted to sand inside the FCA housing but was afraid of getting small debris in that I couldn't verify was out. Also on a side note, if I were able to flow the groove I cut, into the original triangle without altering the very bottom ( the point) will it work throughout the whole delivery range? and will I always get p0148 after it is working right. Sorry I'm so long winded but I've wanted to ask this for awhile and more questions just came up. THanks
