Well did my pump mod and it does feel like there is more power there. I used 6x2 usually (5x2) on the tst and 50% on the mp8 and if i punch it in third the tires go up in smoke. Its definatly worth the time.

I did mine this weekend too.
All I am running at the moment is a EZ, but you can tell it is working. I noticed better power at WOT. I think it would be way more noticable power for someone draining the rail. I think this mod, and a dual feed line would be great for the guys stacking boxes or running injectors. I had some startup issues, but I pulled it down again and polished the little thingy-ma-jiger down and it hasnt had any problems since. Ad removed site violation

Wasnt raining today so took the truck for a ride with my kids(they love to hot rod).
Set the smarty on level 8 wild, quad race on 140, smoke switch on, and of course DIY CP3. Went to the parking lot where I park my bus. Here is a run by with my 9 year old son taping. http://video.thedieselgarage.com/vid...f5016af7e4.htm

Smoke switch is a simple on/off toggle that tricks the ecm into thinking you are a full boost when you are really at low boost levels, gives you full fuel right NOW. The benefits are faster spooling, but also gives a nice puff of black smoke until the turbo spools.
Here's the link to the thread about it.

drew, use the pics from relentless and take your time, two most important things are make sure everything is clean and make sure when you install the valve back in the fca it slides in very easy, the sticking valve seems to be the one that has been getting alot of people, including my self,I'm glad I pulled mine back apart and found the problem,it has probably saved a few people from alot of headaches, not just here but other forums also.

I know this may be a dumb question but these are delicate parts.
Wouldnt a zizwheel work just as well as a dremel?
Also when it mentions the mechine screws in the relentless artical, is the gear cover threaded or do we need to put a nut on there?
