What about a toolbox that does not mount over the sides??? is it to much bed to lose with it siting in the bottom of the bed??
I think the best would be a custom cut tool box so you could still have it mounted in front

53,
I abviuosly missed something somewhere but do you need to use the 12" of 5" flex ??????????????????????????
I am going to keep the 4" existing plumbing and bring that right up to the bottom of the stack if it makes a difference.

the flex is for engine movement vs bed movement...
the stack is right above the stock exhaust pipe route for the most part..thats one of the cool things about a single..all you need is one 90* bend and some straight pipe to make your own kit

Have any of you guys seen any other way to do stacks or a single stack which I'm leaning toward with a toolbox? I mean instead of moving the box back to fit the stack? If I were to go with a 7" stack it looks like the stack is at least an inch off the front of the bed and I'd need at least an inch for the lid of the box to open. So that potentially puts my toolbox back around 10" which I think might look stupid on a shortbed truck.
Any ideas are appreciated.
