Diff between Qzilla Air intake and Airaid

Appear to be similarly priced. However the qzilla claims much more hp gain (35hp) as opposed to Airaid of 11hp. Are these estimates based on stock or improved on mods that are installed? I haven't seen a qzilla intake in any sigs (haven't been here that long). Just curious as I'm in the market for a new intake. Thanks.

Gain 35 hp from the filter on a stock truck? I would love to see that dyno!

Yes we have documented up to 35rwhp gains from the intakes ON A MODDED TRUCK. Normally you will see anywhere from 10-18rwhp.

I cannot compare against the Airaid? I now we intall really easily and we have had ZERO issues with dirt getting by the filter and it flows really well.

I know you weren't, I was sort of directing that to someone else.

You will like the intake, it is simple and works well.

We are planning to release our pre-filters in 2weeks as well!

There should be an internet stalking law.

He has lots of air to make sounds with, but nothing that matters to anyone?

Yes...I am very interested in the intake as well. Quad...will you please post dyno sheets for before and after on a stock truck and a modded truck.

This airbox/filter sounds like the way to go...since no other filter or intake combo can promise or better yet realize gains like that.

I agree that the intake is the way to go. It does flow better and is more economical than the others that we know of. It also fits very well. It is just a simple way to add airflow, nothing too fancy.

I will round the dyno charts up.

Hey qzilla,

Can I use your intake with the Cool blue hoses? Or do I need to reinstall the stock elbow that came with the air box? I really like your box, and am very interested in your air solution, but I have already spent the money on the Cool blue hoses from the air box to the engine.

Your input would be much appreciated
