around the second gen time period it seemed like most of the rigs on the road were ford but now i see alot more CDT's than i used to. especially all the hotshots.

This is so true, its just like in the gas performance world, if you aint driving chevy, it costs about double. Just a matter of pure numbers

What's funny is that my Powerstroke buddy and I went to Quartzsite last weekend. Talk about RATTLE city!! If you have a gasser there, you are a WIMP!
Anyways, we kinda did an un-scientific poll about which truck was #1 there.
Our approximate breakdown was this.
Cummins 45-50%
Powerstroke 40-45%
DuraMax 10%
Must be cause they are hauling such big trailers!
