Will 4.10 gears be better than the 3.73? Will i have more pulling power? How much would a swap cost me? What will the mileage do with the change?

I actually think in town a 4.10 gear DOES give better mileage. On the highway though they rev up to 2200 at about 75ish. Not where you want to be for the best MPG. I also think the 4.10s will do better, mileage wise, with the larger tires (35") than a 3.73 geared truck. There is more torque available to the wheels so its not lugging the engine as much.

I have 4:10 gears and my rpm is at 2100 going 80mph with 35" tires..... when you have bigger tires put in it will effectively reduce your gearing. I get 18-20 on the highway depending on wind direction and 16 in town....I only have a leveling kit on it though. procomp xtreme all terrains 35x12.5......

How much would it cost me to change the gearing from 3.73 to 4.10?

Get a good tranny in there and don't worry about the gears for now. I run on 35's and tow a 14k toy hauler without issues with mine.

Stock tranny was a whole nother issue though. It would rev to like 2800 rpms leaving a stop light, and like 3k trying to go up a hill if I had to stop at the bottom. It was horrible. Transmission took care of that though.
