Did my first mod.

Did my first mod.
Installed a Quad 100hp box Tuesday afternoon. I've played with it a little in the 60hp setting, and BOY what a difference. I now need to get some gauges installed in this thing as soon as I can (I think I'm just going to go with a pyro and boost since I don't really tow heavy enough to worry about excessive tranny temperature).
I don't have big plans to BOMB this thing out, but I will probably do the aforementioned gauges as well as an exhaust and intake (undecided on brands right now).
I've got a private track rental I'm going to this coming Sunday (bikes only), so I might see if I can make one pass down the track in the truck just for the heck of it since I'm curious about what it would run. I'm a little nervous about hurting the tranny though, since I can't drop $5K+ on a built tranny right now.

Nice numbers. I've got a couple friends with Busa's. They are both very impressive. One of them just dynoed 272hp with his new mods. I haven't heard what they are or what he is running yet.

i wouldnt run my truck with any module without first adding gauges. the egts stock will get quite high, and with the quad standard will exceed the recommended limits. be careful, i know it is tempting, but excercise restraint with the **** of power until your bases are covered. just my $.02, but what do i know?????????????????............................. .

George definetly throw some gauges in there. You need to know your levels to ensure that you don't damage anything. I run the ISSPRO white faced gauges which match almost perfect to my stock dash lighting.

I have to agree with Dodgezilla get guages then play.
I also have to disagree with not having a transmission temp guage. Stock transmissions are not meant for an extra 100hp and heat up very qucikly at the track.
