After throughly detailing my engine and installing my Quad X2, A day later my truck wont run(rail/ fuel pressure sensor) Could the Quad or washing caused this?

I doubt it, if you had a bad rail sensor your truck would still run, but not very good. Your idle would be really rough. Try and dry everything out with a leaf blower or air tank if you have one.

Unplug the RP sensor and dry it out good with compressed air. These connections seem to be very tempermental. Apply some dielectric grease and reconnect it and see what that does.

Mine has been running kind of sluggish also.. I thought it was my rv so I capped it and its still kind of sluggish. When I had my tst on it and I flooring it would start sputtering and stuff.. I got a quad rail/fuel pressure gauge on the way so maybe that will tell me whats wrong.. I don't trip any codes and my truck idles perfectly fine..

My rail gauge is exactly what convinced me to buy the pressure s/w(erratic readings). Everybody else was saying it's probably the FCA, just because they're more vulnerable and pressure s/ws never fail. Well, guess what, they do!

rail sensor
i just finished my 06 ive been building, it had a eng light on and ended up replacing the rail press sensor, ran good, symptoms were: hard starting, very underpowered, and ran rough& Loud the press was 27000+ at idle. after this was fixed and i was enjoying my new truck(only 520 act miles) i decided to install my guages including a pricol rail press. after a few days the light came on and ran same way, unplugged the Y harness for the guage and then it ran fine again???? anyone had problems with their guages or a chip tha uses this electrical connection?? or with guage also.

Idling really bad, it'd die all the time and it caused the fca to run wide open when rp couldn't be read. What convinced me to get a 200.00 fuel psi sensor was the fact that my rail psi gauge would work then quit then work for a couple seconds then quit.
