diablo sport question?

After i get my tax return money i am planning on buying a programmer. my truck is basicly stock so i dont want to go crazy just yet. i have been looking at the quadzilla xzillaraider or something from diablo sports. between the diablo predator and the diablo power puck which would be better to start of with? and out of the three which one would be the best overall? i only do light towing as of yet so it is mainly for perfomance reasons. any advice would be appreciated.

From what I've read, the Predator is a great downloader for low-rpm fueling. The Puck adds pressure, so you'll have to be careful with that one. Don't know anything about the quad. (I'm getting the predator as soon as it's released for the 06)

"mainly for perfomance reasons"
Get the quad race, on the fly adjustable, you have a stock, tow, and two "performance" settings. You won't be sorry.

How much pressure does the puck add? Is it more than a XZT 65hp?

Unless you have supporting mods,, tranny, clutch etc, I wouldnt really recommend using the diablo, it puts out a real 160 hp. You will destroy your tranny in no time. But other than that it is a great programmer

either the quad or the predator should be fine as long as you only use the lowest settings until you get the supporting mods,I'm not a big fan of running increased rail pressure for daily driving so I would recommend the predator over the quad if you want to have some extra power at all times,I run the two stacked when I wanna play but other then that it's just the predator on tow,I'm in desperate need of a new clutch so I have to be careful how much I play with higher power

i agree with what you guys are saying. i dont plan to use the extreme setting, or at least not until i get a beefy tranny. i was just thinking that it would be better to buy a programmer with multiple setting and functions as opposed to one that has only one setting and is not upgradeable. i have seen several that are on the cheaper side but not with the function of the predator. i do plan on adding more mods in the future as the budget allows. thanks for the help so far. keep it coming.

The Extreem setting on the Diablo Sport is a transmittion buster, but it is really fun! it is a very good programmer. just build up the transmission if you run extreem.

i've got the diablo stack on my truck and I love it. I keep the predator on extreme stack and the puck can switched on and off if you need it. programmer is plenty but switching on the puck is a little extra kick in your rear. Plus you can get it all for $380.00

I want to try that stack someday. I'd like to have a program that's about half way between Pedator 100hp and Predator Extreme with driveability more like the 100hp. Can you find a combination like that with your stack? Craig

My diablo prgrammer blows good thick smoke in all three settings. I dont know if something is wrong but it does. now it blows more the higher you go in programs, but I know people that would be happy with the cloud it leaves in the tow/haul setting. Alse, I have the BHAF and strait 4" exhaust and in the 100hp setting, I can get about 1450 EGT after about 5 seconds of full throtle on the interstate. In the extreme, I can burry the 1500 mark very quicky. I hve never had it to these temps for more than 2 or 3 seconds but what do you guys think of that?

Well, that answers the questions I've had about the bigger 600/610 turbo and 4" downpipe. Mine hits 1200 on 100hp and 1350 on Extreme. Craig
