diablo power puck?
I bought a stock 05 cummins six speed and I have couple of questions.
1. Is the daiblo sport power puck a good chip?
2.Can I use it on a stock truck with out burnning up anything, or do I need an EGT or turbo back setup?
Thanks

you will need a built tranny soon if you have a lead foot, go easy and you will be fine for a little while as long as you baby her. EGT guage is always good to have, even stock, as far as a exhaust, it will defin. lower egts and probably add a few HP and TQ #'s

#2 - depends on your driving habits. Ypur clutch might not like you, but it will hold for a while but I would start saving for a new clutch. I have had my stack (puck/predator) on for 4k now and mine is still holding.

The Power Puck is a very mild box. If you run on the 50hp setting only then you should be OK without any other mods. An EGT guage is really a good idea if you drive like a NUT or if you tow anything heavy....

Since you said that you have a 6 speed you do not need a built tranny. You will need a clutch upgrade and that is it. I am looking at a SB DD for mine and it shoud cost approx. $1600 + shipping. That is a lot cheaper than a built tranny that can run between $2500 - $6000 +
