Debadged but still outlines.
I debadged my truck this weekend (nice call Mark) and I have waxed the areas where the badges where about 6 times but I still can faintly see some of the outlines. Mainly the 2 0s in 3500 and the top of the heavy duty that was on the tailgate.
Any suggestions on what to do about this?

I would use a wheel with a medium sponge and some medium compound. then polish and wax. I don't think a claybar is gonna get it done. It will take you longer to get it ready (cover the black plastic - it is a little messy) than the actual wheel time. You won't hurt the paint because you don't have and edges in those areas - even if your a bit of a greenpea at it. Ease into it and feel the paint to make sure it isn't getting too warm from the wheel.

Mine turned out the same way on the doors. You can't see anything unless your about 10" from the door and your looking hard.
My Cummins emblems came off real easy and left no marks at all. I must of did a hack job on my doors. It's ok though I could realy use a new paint job.

I used some polishing compound in the areas where there was some fading. Thinking about it a better term may be staining.
What I could not resolve that way, I did some sticker engineering on. That covered up the main part of the stain.

So anyways back on topic. I keep hearing alot about this erasier wheel, I beleive 3M makes it? What exactly is it & how do you use it?
I know the exact reason why I have some knicks on my door, I was stupid and decided that I could use a small thin putty knife to help scrape off the rubber stickie stuff. Well it worked good & I thought I wasen't hitting the paint. After I was done with the removal I noticed that I did hit the paint a couple of times but it is nothing major, heck I have more damage from my 35's throwing up rocks. I need to find a good paint shop around me. I may just Line-X the whole truck.
