I have an 04 ram 3500 ctd, By looking thorough the thread and talking to people I know what mods and brands I want to put on my truck. Well I ran into someone with the same truck as mine but an 03 and he is turning his truck. So he wants to sell all of his mods for $850 mods are:

-western chip 2or3 settings, says he paid 800
-procol guages boost,pyro,and trans
-3 pod pillar
-some air filter maybe by western???


Just want to know if its a good deal and if western is a good product for my truck. I also dont tow alot. THANKS

My wife just came across the same type of deal. A guy traded his 04.5 identical to mine for a powerchoke and was parting ways with his stuff. She got me a Bully Dog Tourque Dog 3 levels, stock, 50hp/100ftlb, 100hp/200ftlb. A pillar with a single pod built in with a dual gauge EGT/Boost instaled, and a 1 week old AIRAID drop in filter. She got all this for $475 for me. She got a steel of a deal on the stuff but that gives ya an idea.

Well, I would say no, only because nowadays, some chips/boxes come with gauges (and the EGT backdown feature) - and they go for high $700's to mid $800's

Sure, you will need a trans gauge, and a filter, BUT you will the added safety of the EGT backdown

thats my though, because my EGT backdown has saved my butt many a times (when I was floorboarding it and forget to watch the old EGT gauge I had)

I agree with Tomeygun. Those aren't the most well know parts either. Could have contributed to his switching to Fomoco.
