ddp 90's do you like them?
i was wondering who has 90 horse nozzles and what do you and dont you like about them. i was also wondering what turbo you guys run with them. what your egts are at 60 and at wot and if thye are to smokey. i dont tow that much and the truck is a daily driver so i dont want to block the sun with smoke
i might buy some ddp 90's and a super b special. the thing i want to know about ddp is do they just hone out the stock nozzles and clean them up thus thier nozzles are all bosch nozzles correct? thanks for your help

I think that would be a nice setup for sure. I haven't personally run a set but my friend has. He says that they have good manners and he drives around without smoking for the most part. Should work well with the special. A cp3 mod wouldn't hurt either.
Look on CumminsPerformance Parts.com when ready for them, lowest price I've seen.

DDp injectors?
i have dd9 50 sticks.. and a super b special . i tow heavy with the truck as well. the turbo kicks ***. never any problems and good spool. plus its the first of the twin kit!!
DDP? i had them install 50 hp sticks, as they are 15 minutes from my house. they told me for pulling heavy, they would raise my egt's and would be a bad idear. They told me that the 50's would be perfect and lower my egt's and give me better fuel economy! and they would dyno out at 50 plus!! and they would lesson the black cloud behind me!!
The result? the dyno showed a 35 hp gain?? my fuel economy has gone down, and the black smoke got worse? they told me that my old banks chip messed with the dyno numbers? WRONG!! even with 50's my egt's went up so much that i couldnt even tow my trailer up a steep grade anymore, too hot !! smarty pod brought them down! which they said wouldnt happen! and they told me my turbo is junk , and they would have to take it out and re build it to better specs if they did my twin!! which they make in house..
in conclusion, i like the 50's with the fass 150 and smarty-pod.. but i didnt like to be lied to , just for the purpose of a sale!!

I put some 60's in, the baseline dyno was 262hp before and after was 349hp on nozzles alone, a gain of 77hp. The guys at DDP say that there nozzles are at the very least more hp then the advertised rating, just so people don't come back on them and say that they didn't get the full hp of the nozzle. My EGT's are controllable. I prefer to tow 12000lbs at Smarty (1), sometimes I'll run (2) and turn on the TST for added adjustment. The turbo spools very nice, its been advised to me to maybe go with a 64/65/13ss for better EGT's. My fuel economy is great as long as I keep my foot out of it. I would recommend adding the Arson kit. I think the 90's might be harder to control EGT's on a single. When not towing I normally run Smarty (8), TST 2/0, a little smoke but ok.
