Dash mount pods

Dash mount pods
Well here I was going along fat ,dumb, and HAPPY (because new dually arrives Monday) thinking I had planned every stage of the add ons. Well tonight my balloon burst!
I bought Dipricol Optix gauges (have them) and had planned on using the Autometer 3 pod dash mount. I went to order it tonight and lo and behold it says it is for 2003-2005 model Rams. Went to their web site and it says the same thing.
I think I've read on the forum that there was an interior change in 06. So the questions are:
1. Are the 05 and 06 dashes the same?
2. Will the Autometer 3 gauge dash pod work in an 06?
3. Does anyone else make a dash pod that will fit an 06?
If I can't get a dash pod I would like to use an overhead. Here again the autometer says up to 05. So are you aware of one that WILL fit the 06?
If all else fails, I guess I'll go with the full A pillar but would rather not.
Thanks

I was in the same boat....
I bought a 3 gauge dash top pod from egauges. I have dry fit the pod on the dash. It appears to squeeze nicely between the defroster vents.
I'll be installing the gauges over the next 2 weekends (don't want to rush it).
I'll also post some pics, after the install.
