In Dash gauge mount
Any sugestions on moving the heater/AC controls to the lower part of the console and putting the in dash gauge mount in its place????? This will make it a little easier to see. 2004.5 Ram 2500

You have to use a dremel and open the hole up. I decided I didn't want to risk a screw up, and just put mine in the lower part. I can see them fine, and I have bad eye's.
I really do like the look though. There's a few guy's here that did it, and I'm sure they will be chiming in soon. Good luck.

I switched mine a while back after a year with them on the bottom after looking one too many times at MedicShawn's. You do have to cut out the lower hole so the A/C control unit will fit. You also have to be creative in securing the A/C control unit into the larger bottom hole. The screw locations do not match up well. I took it all apart, made a template from the A/C control, used a dremel tool to enlarge the bottom hole. Then was able to make the lower screw holes work with a couple of wahers on the top two that are outside of the A/C control. Not hard, just have to be willing to hack up your center console. I am glad I did mine.
