DANGER :BDDL+Baja Claws=Damage
Was doing a burnout on asphalt while leaving a store the other day and shot a piece of asphalt through the front window of a store. Unfortunatley, they saw the whole thing inside and I ended up paying $240.00 for a new front door glass.

You should countersue.
It was their fault.
Crappy parking lot consisting of loose asphalt resulted in your back wheel spinning,
thus propelling the afformentioned asphault chunk through their window.
The mental anguish caused by your tires spinning resulted in lost work
and ruined the valentines day surprise for the wife.

I design and build roads/parking lots for a living. I would have to say that the tack coat gave way between the surface course and the binder course. Needless to say that the pavement wasn't designed properly if it failed to the point where it could break-away. Sorry for the Civil Engineer's analysis. Just thought you would get a kick out of this. .....Of course they didn't factor in someone would be doing burnouts in their parking lot either.
Actions have Consequenses
Betcha don't try that again.

Nice!!!! At least the trucks OK, and no one got hurt. Did you at least leave your mark to remember your $240, if not go back in the middle of the night and do it right!

I did that in a parking lont once, but I didnt break any windows. I just got a ticket for "exabition of speed." It cost me $270, 3 points, and 18 months probation. 240 is cheap!

I got the same ticket and it only cost me $150 and it didn't go on my insurance. Except back home they call it "digging out". "I'm sorry officer. My truck just makes to much power to not spin the tires on wet ground."

Back when dick cepek was around they had a truck show at there store. There was a sand drag jeep there. The jeep was parked next to the front door and the big glass window. Everyone kept asking him to fire it up but he kept saying no, but the manager asked him to start it and he said that he would not be responcable if the window blew out. the manager said there is no way he could hurt the window. He started it up and the place started to rattle. Gave it one quick romp on the throttle and BAM the window was gone. Was the coolest thing I ever saw.

I chirped my tires in a parking lot -- seriously, a CHIRP from accidently being in L rather than 1st on a chevy gasser. A cop saw it and wrote a ticket for "Careless and imprudent driving" since I lost full control of the vehicle. They threw it out of court because when I asked for a definition of that law, the court didn't have a copy of it.
