4 3/4" hole saw and cutting oil, about $50 bucks total. Easy!

I'll tell you guys the truth. My biggest holdback is that even though these are super nice rims, I really want some of the ST steel rims so I can paint them body color and put chrome caps and trimrings on them. It looks great in the picture in my mind (what's left of it). Because of that I just don't really have the patience for what it's gonna take to make these work on my truck no matter how simple it may be. Worst of all is that my new Nitto Dura Grapplers showed up yesterday and now I have to sit and look at those just sitting there waiting to be put on rims. They are E-rated 285s and they are sweet!!!
Anyways, I'm working on a deal for some of those rims right now, possibly, and this may just be a moot point soon....

The process isn't rocket science, is easy and been completed by several members on here. The rotozip worked well for me and was easy to handle and has less surface area than a router to prevent scratches. I agree the hole saw method is probably my least fav option but hey, that's probably what was used the first time and lead all of us to this wheel option. Do what works for you and if you do scratch the area, it will probably be covered up by the center cap anyhow....unless you really go crazy. No adult beverages until finished.
I have a set of 2nd get steel wheels & tires for sale $350, you pickup or ship.

Thanks but the 2nd gen wheels won't fit a 3rd gen due to the size of the brakes. These rims are no longer for sale and I no longer need to worry about this. I know it's not rocket science as I have done a set myself on my 03. I guess my heart wasn't in it because they were really not what I truly wanted.. I'm happy with what I am ending up with and I think you guys will think it looks cool too. If not then I always have the stocker chrome clad alloys to fall back on...

Thanks for all the advice. This place is always great......

I might take them, 2 of mine got damaged in shipping, a wheel repair shop picked them up on Friday of last week. And I haven't heard from them and they don't return my calls. So I might need 2 replacements, and I guess I'll have 2 spares...
