Dakota Digital Guages?
anyone using these and if so how good are they? They have a single guage that will do egt, boost, and temp. I was thinking about getting this gauge and the srt 10 pillar. What do ya think?

I had a set of them. Lost 3 fuel pressure senders and one boost sender in less than a year. Cool looking gauges but I got tired of the numbers not being exact (they bounced around a little and were constantly changing) and it was kinda hard to see patterns of stuff. I'm glad I went back to analog gauges.

If you haven't already, check out the SPA digital gauges too. They only have dual versions, but IMO are much nicer than the Dakotas. SPA's are known for being some of the most accurate and quickest responding gauges available.

I've had the 3-in-1 gauge in my truck for the last year. It's very easy to read in the daytime, and only "flutters" on the boost reading. Then again, it is reading boost in 1/10's... SPA's are nice but are known for being tempermental... I mounted the gauge in the ash tray, so I don't have to look at it when I don't want to.

Most of the SPA gauges I've seen end up having backlight problems. I've had 2 dakota digital gauges (air pressure) in a semi for about 5 years with no problems. One sending unit is on the trucks air suspension, the other is on the trailers air suspension, and both gauges are in the truck. They're used as air scales and have been susprisingly accurate considering the trailer sending unit is ran through almost 70' of wire.
